Matt was born and raised in Houston, Tx. At an early age he saw many of his friends receive Jesus and get baptized. He wanted to do the same. But in the wisdom of his children’s minister, she discerned that his heart was not ready. Two years later, after intentionally listening to sermons and learning more in church bible study, Matt received Jesus into his life. But it wasn’t until high school that he started to take his faith seriously. Through the investment of his youth leaders, he began to sense that God was calling him into ministry. And during the end of his freshman year in college it was clear that the Lord wanted him to enter the ministry to make disciples through preaching the word and forming relationships with others so they might know Jesus.
Matt graduated from the College of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Houston in 2016 (B.S. in Biblical Studies) and from the Fort Worth campus in 2019 (Advanced Master’s in Christian Education with a focus in Missions). In 2016 Matt married the love of his life, Molly and they have two boys, Kai and Emmett, and one daughter, River. They are also in process of adopting from India. Some of their favorite things to do are discipling their children, spending time outdoors, eating international foods, and sharing the hope of Jesus in the community.

Steve received a Bachelor of Business (Business Computer Systems) from New Mexico State University. He is passionate about worship music and connects with God more through music than any other form of worship. He has three amazing children, all of whom have been or still are active in worship ministry. Steve is also passionate about youth and has served as a youth pastor or been involved in youth ministry for over 30 years.

Financial Secretary
Elise received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Texas A&M University and has served as the Financial Secretary for more than 15 years. She also serves as a vocalist with the praise team and has been a faithful worker with the youth group for over 10 years. She has a special place in her heart for middle school students. She and her husband have 3 grown children who are all serving in various ministries.
